[QUOTE=patiently].......still waiting......patiently........if there is such a big “bomb” about to be dropped........what is it? ................................. If it’s going to effect the election, it can be a secret in your pocket, because no matter how big the secret in your pocket is, nobody will believe it......

I agree, if it is good enough, let people know about it. But it better be good or it will backfire…

Also, in a field with so many candidates to choose from it may have an adverse effect and hurt both the giver and the reciever.

[QUOTE=noneoftheabove]Based on the Advocate’s story today on abysmal absentee voting for this election, my guess is that the two candidates with the biggest families will make the general.

I think turn-out will be fair, despite absentee voting.

[QUOTE=Avman]Maybe this bombshell will be like paper and fire?

Makes me want to “check it out.”

Some months ago, there were postings about a rumored visit by a candidate to a #### shop that was caught on film. Oh the damage that would be caused by the release of that film, oh just wait until it is released, waiting for just the right moment......waiting......waiting .....waiting.

Big surprise, no film was released, and that candidate was elected.

The current rumors are simply more of the same. How funny. And sad.

True. And how David Vitter was a “hitter” and Charles Foti was “gay.” This kind of muckracking is the darker side of doing/saying anything to win.

[QUOTE=UnregisteredRep]I told these jackasses yesterday that we decided not to release what we have. There is no bombshell now.

Right. No bombshell now.

Come on, who do you think you are fooling? There is no bombshell now, and no bombshell ever. If there was something, it would be released or leaked, one way or another.

You always throw a bomb with a short fuse which cannot be defused by the enemy before it blows up. You think you are safe because you thought the landing was coming at Pas De Calais when in reality it is happening at Normandy........history often repeats itself........BOOM!!!!!!!

Not to tell you something you should already know, but a bomb that explodes while in flight does little damage.... If anything, it should have been in everybodies mail box so they could talk about it the next day in the office at the water cooler, lunchroom, bathroom stall… or whereever else they will see people on the last day before the primary.
