I’d be curious to see the appeal brief of the Tangipahoa Parish School Board in the recent prayer case. The Board voted to appeal, but imhlo, the appeal will fail. This is not a close issue, and the appeal will prove to be a waste of time, effort, and money. Judge Berrigan’s decision will be affirmed. Read her decision here: http://www.laaclu.org/DoevTangiDec.pdf.

But of course, the Board is composed of politicians, and with such a crowd present at their vote, it was not surprising to see them vote to appeal the decision.
