Avman is busy with his Louisiana Conservative website and has been in some internet fued with a Democrat who works in the office for the mayor of Alexandria.
Yes, it would be nice if there was more focus on actual political issues, and much less regarding individual posters.
It would be nice if the phonies and hypocrites left and we didn’t have to defend ourselves in debates against the dishonest who have little conviction. You know those people who try to stir debates simply to stir debate through personas they create?

Seriously though. What’s the point of a political forum if not to debate issues? If we all agree, then there isn’t much fun.
Oh I want to debate the issues. I just don’t want to spend time debating with someone time and time again and then have them say they had just been making up their stuff. You know the kind. You make a point and the rebuttal is “I am just a persona"--ie “I really don’t believe the stuff I post” or “I am no expert so I don’t have to defend my position”. Why even enter into a debate with such a poster? At any given time in the debate they are prone to dodge an embarrassing contradiction with “I am just a persona that has been cranking you the whole time”.
I have more respect for Commune and Big whom I disagree with about 100% of the time than I do the persona Troll. At least I think they believe what they post and they are consistent in their positions. The persona Troll just picks a side and takes it with no conviction and is so shallow he can’t argue either side with any convincing argument. You guys debate him I haven’t the inclination.

No poster here has taken such contradictory positions as you have. Every other poster here is willing to stand by their conviction until convinced to abandon it. You simply wimp out when confronted with a contradiction. Either you lack the ability to defend your contradictions or you hold the rest of us in such low regard that you think we will not recognize your contradictions so you continue.
Quit whining about personal attacks as if somehow your contrived persona can be offended. Perhaps if you took responsibility for your post you would find that the insults would diminish.

Each and every one of those threads attacks a contradiction in your positions or a consequence of your positions and you simply wimped out. Whined about straw men or starting talking about “putting words in my mouth”. In every single case the thread arose from a logical extension of flawed logic you posted.
