All right folks,

In my brief time at the PoliticsLA forum, I’ve liked commenting and interacting with people here so far.  Good forum, good people, some robust debate.  I like that.

Here’s something that I’ve been thinking about though.  I see this forum is moderated, and I’ve seen some people get bagged here.  I know we’ve got rules, and they are up to the Administrator, and they can run this site how they like.  It’s their show.  I’m not trying to tell said people how to run the show.  That said, at a lot of other political sites and message boards I have frequented, the debate is kept serious and focused.  Posters who are abusive, silly, annoying, frequently off-topic, or trying to use the forum as their own personal platform to spew nothing but inane gibberish are often sent packing.

With that in mind, how the Hades is the continued existence, and idiocy, of Kotex Republican and Hardy Parkerson tolerated on this board?

I mean, seriously, they contribute nothing to the debate.  Absolutely nothing.  KR tries to be funny with his pathetic mocking-caricature diatribes, but seriously, it’s old, played and useless, and has badly derailed many a legitimate discussion.  And Hardy treats the forum like it’s his own personal soapbox/megaphone to spew his diarrhea of the mind.  It’s really cluttering up the conversation here.

Again, the Mods who own and run this board, your prerogative, and I’m not gonna whine and complain about it going forward.  Just saying, if it were my site, and at a lot of other sites, KR and Hardy would’ve gotten the Ban Hammer dropped on them long ago.  I’m just sayin.’

I think your complaint is the very beauty of this forum.  Because it’s small, you get to know the personalities behind the screen names.  Cut and dry debate with no one “hijacking the thread” or KR’s antics or Hardy’s poems seems awfully boring to me.

And BTW, Hardy is an Emperor.  What other forum are you ever going to post on where you get to interact with an emperor.

Jet, take a big deep breath and “land yo plane”.  (One of my favorite lines from Couples Retreat, said by husband during wife’s gripe session.)

Hardy is a nut and Trots/KR/Tampon Boy is nothing more than a childish moron.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Uh-oh, I wonder if this goes on Hardy’s saved list....

The evil Internet Terrorist here, issuing another Bin Laden style statement.  grin

Look at the main Louisiana Politics forum.  Hardy’s gone way beyond annoyance, he’s spamming the forum, totally crowding out any discussion.  Someone please drop the Ban Hammer on this idiot.

I’ll stay thank you very much.  I like debate.  What I don’t like is posters who cannot debate without vicious personal attacks and relentless, juvenile vulgarity.  Like DOT Ray.  Besides, I figure I’ll outlast DOT Ray on this forum; once TaxMan emerges from his workplace lair after Tax Day, I figure the ban hammer will drop.  He got rid of Maquii for pretty much the same thing.  Tick-tock, .Ray.  Tick-tock.

I don’t mind KR even though I rarely agree with him. I think his mockery of conservatives is a legitimate form of editorial type content. He isn’t profane and rarely if ever personally attacks anyone.

.Ray and Ryan are jerks who have never really added anything but profane personal attacks on people.

Hardy is somewhat the racist and is certainly, sometimes, out to lunch so to speak. I wish he would post in the appropriate forum if there is one for his posts.
