The NCAA basketball championship is almost here. I hardly watch basketball, but every year I like to enter those bracket contests. They have them online now, yahoo, espn, and cbs have them I think, probably several other sites too.
Any interest here in getting a PoliticsLA contest going?

I wouldn’t mind, but I don’t think there are enough people to do a real big bracket.

Sure, I think you have a swell idea here. And we could all take ourselves a little less seriously.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

I picked the favored teams and am doing OK.
Watched the Tigers Saturday and thought the played well. NC has a lot of talent.
