Now that oil speculators are in full retreat, let’s add to their joy by letting others know where the cheap gas is. gassbuddy.com and louisianagasprices.com are good tools. As is word of mouth. For instance, I noticed Fuel Zone (Staring at Perkins) had regular gas at $1.29 today - those are prices I haven’t seen for years......

I haven’t been out much lately, but the Racetrac’s are usually one of the cheapest.

They are - their prices in the Essen/Bluebonnet area are hovering around $1.45...meanwhile, the boutique Chevron station outside of Bocage is charging $1.65.

Looks like it rose a few cents over the weekend $1.49 at the racetrack in DS.  Up from $1.45.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

It could be that the 2009 hurricane season is only 6 months away.

You’re both wrong.  It’s going up because of the anticipated seating of Al Franken.

It would be far too difficult to teach you the concept of “political humor” bill.
