Woody started a business relationship with David Duke long after he and everyone else knew of Duke’s political views and then when Woody realized the two of them could be tied together, he tried to hide it by using a third-party. And you don’t think that’s a big deal?
It is a big deal. But what is an equally big deal is the fact that Woody is lying about this relationship. Dealing with Duke is one thing, but Woody is also a liar. Can people forgive him for dealing with Duke and being a liar? Pretty sad if they do.

There are people that do. But what beyond the following statement, from the signed legal document, would any REASONABLE person need to decide that Woody knew he was dealing with David Duke, and now he is lying about it. Geez.

Jenkins and recommended that he use the services of a computerized phone bank system run by Impact Mail. Jenkins purchased several rounds of calls from Impact Mail. After the first round of calls, Jenkins began hearing complaints that Duke’s name would appear on the caller ID when a phone bank message would arrive. At that point, Jenkins tried to cancel the transaction but was unable to because Tony Perkins, his campaign manager, had signed a contract with Impact Mail. Subsequently, Jenkins instructed Perkins to put a stop payment on the check issued to Impact Mail and directed that Impact Mail be paid through Courtney Communications, the campaign’s media firm. The Jenkins Committee issued three $27,500 checks Courtney. Courtney, in turn, made out three checks in the same amount to Impact Mail. The treasurer of record, Michael A. Tham, states that he was unaware of the specific transactions with Impact Mail when he entered the information on the disclosure reports. In the case of the first check, Mr. Tham simply assumed it was for TV advertising.
7. The Jenkins Committee contracted with Impact Mail for computerized phone bank services. Jenkins acknowledges that Impact Mail provided the services to the Jenkins Committee. Courtney Communications was not involved in the provision of services by Impact Mail. Jenkins decided to make disbursements for the services through Courtney Communications because he did not want his campaign to be associated with Impact Mail and did not want Impact Mail listed on the Jenkins Committee’s disclosure reports.

Unfortunately, while I agree that connection to DD is disgusting it didn’t hurt Jenkins when Sawyer exposed him for it. I don’t think voters will get engaged if that is used against him now. Hate to admit there are some parts of this district that it might have helped him. His tax liens and financial situation is one thing the Dems will use. Didn’t he file bankruptcy in Florida? And, the whole scam with the christian organization. Didn’t he and his wife make a lot of money charging for rent, office space etc? And, lawsuits with Kincaid gallery?
OH...and while I’m at it. Might as well be a fair and balanced slammer. What is Cazayoux’s attendance record at the legislature? Was he there to vote on ethics reform package? Guess it must be obvious I’ve been hanging out at the Capitol too much.......

OMG he must be a Democrat if he is a liar then. Perhaps he is a demo plant? Obama is a Terrorists plant according to some on this forum. We never really know who is who when it comes to these politics. Good thing that we are able to tell who is white and who is Black or Indian, or it would really get confusing.

What the heck does it matter? After four years of campaigning and constant promises of well-prepared 12-point programs, Jindal had no detailed proposal, and spent the session finding out his plan had holes like swiss cheese. So they passed it saying they’d fix it later and even today they’re not sure if they can buy potato chips at the snack stand. Unbelievable.
