Looks pretty good
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

I think they’ll keep it up for a few more days before everything gets redirected to the new site. But any posts on that old site aren’t going to be brought over.
New screen is definately busier. More functions. Will take us old guys a while to get used to.
This thing even e-mails you when someone replies to your post.
You’ll get the hang of it Twit!!
Anybody know what the green blocks are for??
Twitt - 20 August 2007 06:11 PM Too be simplistic, if you are a senior member, I guess you get 4 of them. TaxMan probably has a more complex explanation.

I’m flattered you trust me to muddy up the waters; however, I’ll quote the Chief Admin who said:
The more blocks the more senior the member. ie - the more posts they have.

Actually, let’s just say I am a volunteer who has opinions on things and plays sheriff, to keep things in line.
Is there anyway to turn off these infernal e-mails??? I don’t need an e-mail every time someone responds to a post of mine.
I think I found out how to cancel the e-mail notifications.
