An idea that came in my e-mail today…

Subject: An addition to your Christmas card list.

It’s not too soon to start thinking in this direction. I plan to save this msg and follow through --- might even send a couple of cards!! Have some fun and do something really worthwhile.

Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS?

Send the ACLU a Christmas Card.

Add them to your Christmas card list NOW! As they are working so very hard to get rid of the Christmas part of this holiday season, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.

Make sure it says “Merry Christmas” on it. Just don’t be rude or crude, be Christian.

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn’t know if any were regular amil containing contributions. It might distract them for a while.

So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. It is a Christmas Tree, even in the fields.

We really want to communicate with the ACLU… and they deserve to hear from us.

A little religion might do them good. Lord knows they pursue any religious expression with an almost religious (pun intended) zeal.
